CLEANER, GREENER, BETTER.... AND LESS EXPENSIVE !!!

Hibiscus Cannabinus (L) a.k.a. "KENAF", "Indian Hemp" , "Deccan Hemp" OR "Java Jute"

Imagine a plant that grows up to 1 foot per week, and a total of 12 to 20 feet tall in a single 5-month growing cycle.

A plant that stores water like a camel and doesn’t need to be irrigated regularly.

A plant that can be grown to clean and remediate contaminated agricultural soils.

A plant that can produce 3-5x more biomass per acre yearly than southern pine.

A plant that sequesters 3x more CO2 per acre than that of a rainforest, and 7x more per acre than evergreen trees.

A plant whose fiber will float on water for long periods of time, and can absorb up to 12x its weight in hydrocarbons.

A plant that has natural microbes able to remediate toxic petroleum spills, even while floating on water.

A plant that can be used to strengthen, lighten and cheapen concrete.

A plant with fiber and seed oil that can be used to make plastic stronger, lighter, cheaper, while more environmentally friendly.

A plant that when finely milled can reduce civil waste water treatment costs by 15-40% yearly.

A plant that has high protein content (up to 34%) easily assimilated for animal feed.

A plant producing enough biomass from 200 acres to power 100- 2,000 sq. ft homes for a year (7,200+ BTU per lb).

A plant that produces such high-quality fiber it has been used to print money.

A plant that is 100% legal worldwide.

This super plant is a reality today and its name is 'Kenaf'- prounounced "KA-NA'f"   Derived from the Persian word for hemp, Kenaf has also been known as ‘Indian Hemp’ but is scientifically referred to by its binomial name "Hibiscus Cannabinus L".  While some varieties look similar to Cannabis Sativa (marijuana hemp), Kenaf holds no psychoactive properties and is actually a Malvaceae Hibiscus plant most closely related to okra and jute.

Numerous multi-national sponsored studies in Egypt in the 1980' and 1990's concluded that there was strong evidence to support that Kenaf was widely used by the Egyptians as far back as 3000 BC.  Today Agrinomico is using the Kenaf plant for the following uses:

-OXYGEN PRODUCTION (3x that of a tropical rainforest per acre)

-CARBON SEQUESTRATION ( 7,000lbs+ per acre)

-SOIL REMEDIATION (natural toxic waste cleanup)

-CLEAN ENERGY ( 8,200 BTU+ per lb)

-HYDROCARBON ABSORPTION (up to 12x its weight on water or land)

-WASTE WATER TREATMENT (improving efficiency, reducing costs

-EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL (longevity, filtration of pollutants

-BUILDING MATERIALS (improving characteristics, reducing energy use)

-CARBON CREDITS (reducing the emissions of CO2 into the atmosphere)
